Park Entertainment Limited

Park Entertainment Limited was established in 1987 to act as a worldwide entertainment consultant and as a distributor and sales agent for independently produced feature films and television programs. Today Park also develops, co-produces and produces its own programming.

Helmed by company founder Jim Howell, Park successfully handles worldwide distribution on a wide range of feature films and television series spanning many genres. Park's current slate the british thriller Dead Man Running starring Danny Dyer, Tamar Hassan and Curtis '50 Cent' Jackson and the dark comedy Flutter starring Joe Anderson, Anna Anissimova and Laura Fraser.

Park has also been appointed to handle DVD and television sales on the Joan Turturro and Deborah Karah Unger starrer Fear X; the Brian Keenan/John McCarthy film Blind Flight; the classy thriller Tempesta which stars Scott Williams and Rutger Hauer; and Saul Metzein's black comedy, Guy X starring Jason Biggs and Natasha McElhone.

Park owns the former Allied Vision library, which contains the original virtual reality hit film Lawnmower Man and the sequel Lawnmower Man 2 Beyond Cyberspace. Additional acquisitions include the feature directors Tony and Ridley Scott's first venture into television, the 44-part series The Hunger 1 & 2, which harnesses the talents of some of the world's most creative young writers and hosted by pop icon David Bowie. 

Park also sells top quality television drama series including The Lost World, and the 20-part live action/CGI science fiction series for prime time titled Charlie Jade, for which Park is handling worldwide sales. Close links with corporate tax funds and specialist banks have put Park in an ideal position to capitalise on the current buoyant climate for entertainment financing. Park's involvement in the film and television business necessitates regular correspondence with prospective buyers, distributors and financiers all over the world, Park develops its own film and television programming; co-produces with Canada, Australia, Ireland and several European countries and regularly attends all the major film and television markets including AFM, MIP TV, MIPCOM, MIFED, NATPE and the CANNES FILM FESTIVAL.
