Throughout its 17 instalments the show brings together household names who have a mutual interest in and respect for each other’s achievements. In each case the participants have chosen their match, having never previously met. Playing the roles of interviewer and interviewee the pressure associated with high profile celebrity interviews seems removed. Going back deep into their pasts the revelations are often charming, sometimes shocking but always entertaining. With Backdoor Productions having unprecedented access to the participants, some of whom have never appeared in TV interviews before, this series explores the personae of some the UK’s biggest names.
