A boy tries to substitute friendship for the lack of paternal love in his life. He meets Blackbird, a vagabond child who lives in an abandoned streetcar. Their friendship is not acceptable. The two boys meet and create their own world, secrets and miracles. Sadly, their world cannot last and the elders try to break it up.
